Discipline Policy Statement Form
August 2007 Dear Parents, It is time to begin preparing for an outstanding year of Religious Education. In addition to our regular program, we have several different and exciting activities planned. The first new adventure is the beginning of our program with the 11 am Mass and family social to be held directly after church to be held under the tent on Sunday, September 9th. During Mass, students will be asked to dedicate themselves to a productive year and our catechists will be commissioned. At this time you will receive a little memento of our opening. You will also receive a schedule of class dates and sacraments as well as details of some of the surprises we have in store for you throughout the year. For now, please fill out and return to us the enclosed registration form and discipline policy form, along with your payment of $25 per child ($60 family maximum), by August 31st. Registrations received after August 31st will incur a late fee of $10. If you prefer, you may drop your forms off at the rectory or put them in the collection basket at Mass. Be sure to address your envelope to Religious Education. NO registrations will be taken at the opening mass/social. Classes for Pre K-8th grade will again begin at 9:30 am each Sunday. Students in Pre K-8th grade should be dropped off at the back door of the school. Children up to 3rd grade should be accompanied by an adult. All students should wait at the assigned table in the gym until a teacher escorts them to class. Students will be dismissed from the gym. Classes for grade 9 will be held in the Parish Center beginning at 9:15 am on Sunday mornings. These classes will end at 10:45 am so that families may attend the 11 am Mass. Grades 10 and 11 will meet on Sunday evenings according to the enclosed memo. As we look forward to our journey with your children this year, we wish you the best of family times for the remainder of the summer. May we begin our year with the enthusiasm, excitement, and love that Jesus holds in his heart for us every day of our lives. Yours in Christ, Donna Seyedian, Director (Pre K-6) Roberta Coniglio, Director (7-12) |
